A downloadable game

It's 2206 AD and all humans might be dead, as a ghost-robot-duo travel onward through the Burnt Alaskan Wasteland unprepared for an uncanny, new world.

This evolution of point-n-click adventures, & quirky, 90s games is an experience you never knew you wanted: an action-puzzle-hybrid that puts you in control of two special characters, one in each hand. Utilize both the supernatural and electronical to sneak undetected, 2D-platform, overcome obstacles, destroy foe, interact with robot tribes, craft tools, and manage resources all in a post-apocalyptic nightmare.

If a grand story is more your jam, you're in luck as this game is helmed by a team of professional science fiction writers who know how to balance well-constructed story with a captivating setting. The Alaska presented in Phantomatics is sometimes disturbing in it's possibility, counteracted as a celebration of what made campy sci-fi so sublime and timeless.

Meet the Cast:

Proto - A tiny prototype robot made with the intention of passing the Turing Intelligence Test, and no other purpose. Finding himself in a world without people, Proto must calculate how to jump over obstacles, use his hands to interact with physical objects, talk to fellow robots of the wasteland, and use his chest to store tools and an inventory. He will need to work together with Grant if he hopes to stay safe and access important locations. Be warned, at peek performance, his solar power isn't enough to get him through the night, so you'll need to stock up on batteries, and that's not always easy.

Grant the Roboticist - Plagued by guilt, Grant died so close to a breakthrough, feeling half responsible for the downfall of humanity. His crafty mind created some of the deadliest, most complex robots of all time. In his final days, he tried desperately to create robots that built up, rather than tore down, society. But maybe...there's hope. A tiny prototype robot that his colleagues made has miraculously survived, that could maybe, just maybe, be the successor to humanity in a world ravaged by centuries of pollution, global warming, and terrorist warfare.

Grant can phase through matter and isn't affected by gravity. He can possess small things to move or operate, as well as go anywhere without fear of being spotted. Unfortunately, he relies on Proto as much as Proto relies on him. Grant cannot abandon Proto, operate complicated devices, or hold things.

The Mysterious, Drones - Attack drones have flooded North America, maybe even the whole world. They used to be controlled by terrorists for decades but have managed to remain after the apocalypse. They seem to be carrying out orders still and now only target other robots. Are these drones merely weapons, or something much worse?
